-Final piece-

WILL PUT UP A FULL-SIZED VERSION AFTER THE CONTEST! NO DOWNLOADS AVAILABLE UNTIL THE 21ST OF JUNE BECAUSE OF SAFETY REASONS!

My very first real artwork in Photoshop (My last creation doesn't count. It was more of a test of how to use layers). Nothing of my old work can actually be compared to it; nothing.

I can barely believe I managed to make it. Words can not describe what I feel... My dream of becoming a great artist is finally starting to get true.

The titel chosen was "The Lights of Darkness". By that name I wanted to explain that even darkness itself has its own lights, but they are different from any others. Not every light has its source from good. I also used a special choice of lighting-sources and colours to give a special sense into it. If you want to know more about my thoughts about this picture, go and read my comments on the pictures that showed my progress.

I want to dedicate this artwork to Nico Di Martina, who inspired me to draw in Photoshop, and :iconbryttkrou:, who helped me to understand some of the different layers I used. Thanks for everything!

Also, I want to thank everyone who has enjoyed to watch my artwork and my progress on this picture. Your comments have kept me determined to keep going on my task. Again, thanks!

Since this is going to be a artwork for a contest, I hope it will give some nice competition. So then, let the final showdown begin! May the best artist win! :handshake:

It's really awesome! :D
Though I think it would look better if the background had slightly different colors than the armor. Arthas would stick out of the pic, ya kno. But it's still very very good.

If only had the patience to work that long for a pic. -_-

Wow!....abso-freakin-lutely excellent! Every time I look at this, the details of the armor pulls my focus. Then I draw back and see the whole image and...wow...

Thank you for sharing your art. It was cool to see the creative process play out as you updated the images.

The most amazing thing ever!
It's so amazing, I'm bleeding in my eyes! Absolutely amazing!
The colours... amazing
The eyes, the glow, the background, the armour, the helmet, the sword and the SUN! All... so... oh my goodness.

If they were to cure cancer tomorrow... this would still be the best thing that happened this week (and the manga recon :D).
I am going to bite your head off so I can have all of the lovely skills that you have inside of me :XD:
I can't wait 'til I can see the full size... I think I want to frame this...

Love from your biggest fan x

Hey it's finished! Must say the end result looks very impressive. The lighting is superb, i always struggle with that. Good luck in the contest, I'm sure you'll get far with this

"And so, with roughly two hours left until something bad happened to my master’s tower, I had to find a way to get enough juice to keep about eighty orcs happy for a day or so. Today was just not going my way."
