I know that this is not on my project-schedule, but I felt that I needed to train more on lineart and cartoon-colouring.
I experimented some to get the style of the character right and I am pretty pleased with how it turned out. For you who doesn't know who this is, his name is Richard the Warlock. He is a character from the comic "Looking For Group", which is a World of WarCraft-based series. The story is about a few adventurers that travel around the world with their different tasks that they try to achieve. This guy is the most known of them all thanks to his enjoyment of killing things, being sarcastic and be the comic-relief to the story line. Anyway, as for the concept, I made an "I want YOU!"-poster that shows his compasion for death and destruction. I also added a small line for him to say, which points out his favourite-food of all; babies. |
